Monday was Laundry Day in my childhood neighborhood and lines crossed backyards as far as the eye could see. Moms talked outside while kids ran the lines between clothing. One of the first things I did at my house is install outdoor laundry poles and I've been line drying ever since. Neighbors love that I line dry and many have asked to use my line to dry blankets and comforters. You cannot beat the smell of outdoor dried clothing and I still do it whenever I can. I do it to save energy, be more green and enjoy the process. On many days you can catch my dog Goofy lying in the shade of laundry drying on the line. PS - You're pictures are killing me.
